The after-work social networking event combined delectable Japanese cuisine with the soulful sounds of guitarist/producer/singer, Spike Rebel. A portion of ticket proceeds were donated to the Metropolitan Board of the Chicago Urban League Scholarship Fund.
Winter Heat
Over 500 young professionals from across the nation have attended our Winter Ski Getaway since its inception. The weekend event is filled with kickball, volleyball, movies, parties, a game night, and, of course, skiing and snowboarding.
A Sweet Art Affair
A Sweet Art Affair is an evening of fanciful art, entertainment and delectable sweets! This annual event featured deserts donated from local Chicago bakeries and musical performances from The Jarrod Harris Band and Konstant Grooves.
Revival: From State St. to Bourbon St.
Revival brung the excitement of Bourbon St. to Chicago by providing an indoor and Outdoor festival that combined both New Orleans and Chicago's cuisines, music and people in a festive atmosphere that revived Mardi Gras.
Red Carpet Movie Premiere
The Metropolitan Board of the Chicago Urban League presented Red Carpet Movie Premiere, Friday, April 28, 2006 at the LaSalle Bank Cinema featuring Bastards of the Party, a film directed by Cle "Bone" Sloan and produced by director Antoine Fuqua.
Swanky Wine and Art Affair II A Swanky Wine and Art Affair II featured artist Richard Mayhew and included a seminar on investing in art. This memorable event was held at G.R. N'Namdi Gallery on November 17, 2005.
