The primary purpose of the Fundraising Committee is to generate financial support through social events and grants to support the Metropolitan Board and Chicago Urban League programs.
We are an auxiliary of a 501(c)(3) organization that graciously appreciates all sponsors. Some of our past sponsors include PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, U.S. Cellular, and Jewel-Osco.

A Quarter Century Strong
It has been stated: "the people who make a difference are not always the ones with the credentials but the ones with the concern." Since its inception in 1983, the Metropolitan Board (MetroBoard), the young professionals auxiliary of the Chicago Urban League, has exemplified the highest level of each. The MetroBoard has subscribed to and supported the mission of the Urban League "Movement" throughout Chicago, specifically through community service, fundraising and leadership development.
