POSTPONED – Inaugural 5K Run/Walk

MetroBoard’s Inaugural 5K Run/Walk
This Event is Currently Postponed. We are securing a new date. Sorry for any inconvenience

Due to circumstances outside of our control we have to postpone the 5K Run/Walk. We will communicate a new date as soon as possible.

Sponsors, participants and supporters will help raise funds to support the Chicago Urban League’s Youth Development Center (Center for Student Development and the Human Capital Center). Initiatives include, but are not limited to, the Annual Student Mission Trip, Project Ready (a continuum of programming designed to help students with their transition into high school, college and during their first year of college) and the Back to School Fest.

This race will take place in the historic Bronzeville area of Chicago – an area that does not often see events of this type. By bringing this event to Bronzeville we hope to bring awareness to healthy habits and healthy living and to also engage the community and citizens of the area in this type of event.
